What's Alabama Barker's hair color again?
The 18-year-old daughter of Travis Barker and ex Shanna Moakler had the internet doing a double take after she shared a photo of herself rocking honey brown hair instead of her usual blonde hue.
In the snap shared to her Instagram Story Aug. 11, Alabama showed off her light brown hair transformation while lying in bed wearing a black pajama shirt. She paired the 'do with simple diamond stud earrings and a smokey makeup look.
And as for whether the new style was permanent or just a filter? Alabama left fans guessing, adding only a lipstick kiss emoji atop the shot.
But the teenager is no stranger to playing with new hair colors. Back in May, Alabama shared a series of pics sporting fire-red waves that fell far down her back. Captioning her Instagram at the time, she wrote, "Jealous of myself when I look at the camera."
And her dad is certainly supportive of her experimentation. After all, Travis—who also shares son Landon Barker, 20, and stepdaughter Atiana De La Hoya, 25, with Shanna, as well as son Rocky Thirteen Barker, 9 months, with wife Kourtney Kardashian—commented under the post, quipping, "Same."
Hair isn't the only way Alabama has explored changing her appearance, either. In fact, Alabama previously shared that she gets lip fillers, and she recently got candid about deciding to take weight-loss medication after being bullied over her body image online.
As Alabama explained in July 15 video, "I'm tired of being fat and photographing like a damn ogre."
Noting that haters react to her photos by saying things like, "'Oh my god, you're so fat and you're so ugly,'" Alabama added, "It's like, I see what you guys are seeing, but like just like meet me in person. I feel like I really don't look like that."
